Hello all Stars & Universe Explorers,
If you have a little child who wants the explore the stars, you might want to help your little kid to make things easier by giving him or her a telescope as a gift.
Everything is fine until here, but which
telescope is best suitable for your child ?
The answer is difficult since a great number of
kids telescopes exist on the market.
I tried to solve this problem by trusting the name of
National Geographic which is the brand name of the telescope I had bought recently.
I chosed the
National Geographic - Land & Sky Telescope for my 7 year child but unfortunately I felt dissapointed when I saw what I bought. I and my child Nilsu :) unpacked the telescope in great excitement and tried to build it up from its pieces.
It is not difficult to build the telescope since it does not have so much pieces. It's like a 10 piece puzzle :) But I was expecting a few pages of usage guide and a short tutorial in my own language. But I got shocked when I could not find even an English documentation within the package. Too bad. You can not even sell a kids toy without its explanation but on the other hand with the name or the with the brand of National Geographic you can easily sell such a product.
After a short work our excitement went off and we waited the for the night. But even then we could not use the
National Geographic - Land & Sky Telescope which I was hoping to be at least a kids telescope and hoping to get a better picture of moon, we had no view from the telescope.
Great dissapointment for the
National Geographic, how they can let their name put on such a product.
I'll give one more try and if I can get no use of that
kids telescope, I will give that telescope back.
This telescope might be cheap but when you pay even such small amount for nothing, truely for nothing, it is expensive in fact.
Do not event think to buy that product,
National Geographic - Land & Sky Telescope for your child since your kid may lose his or her excitement against scientific tools because of such a failure.
